
Colour Supplements are new foundation-like products from Lush. When I dropped in to my local store the very stylish and helpful sales assistant potted up a little sample of my shade “light pink” to try out. You can see the product and its ingredient list on their website here. This is an interesting idea as it’s a skin tint made mostly from plant ingredients. For this shade, light pink, the actual colour of it comes from rose petals, which I find pretty cool. What I find uncool about it is that despite being natural in many ways, the preservatives are the notorious parabens, a nasty chemical found in many beauty products that I would prefer to avoid. I understand it appearing in cheap brands like MUA, but with Lush’s philosophy… it’s just disappointing.
