Free Beauty Samples Via Facebook!

It seems most days there’s the gentle thump of a sample envelope on my mat, and so many of them are coming via Facebook, I thought I’d give you guys the heads up in case you want to get some too!

I’ve had just loads via the Garnier UK Facebook Page. Probably the best one is the above 14 day trial of Garnier Ultralift – it’s a decent amount of product in hygenic little samples. So handy for travelling and a really good way of knowing if the product works for you. I’ve also had their BB Cream and some other things, they do this sample deal fairly often so like their page and check back for updates if you are interested :) .

In the world of shopping for beauty products, there’s probably nothing more disappointing than buying an expensive new foundation and finding after the second use that it irritates your skin or oxidises to a weird colour, so I’ve loved the samples I’ve had from the L’Oreal Paris UK Facebook Page. You might remember my reviews of Lumi Magique Foundation and Nude Magique BB Cream, both of which were from the Facebook page samples and both of which were much better than I’d expected, props, L’Oreal! Having a sample to test and try out and put through its paces, makes me so much more confident as to whether a product is worth the price tag. I don’t really want to buy any foundation, BB or moisturiser product without trying it first, so this is great. I’m looking forward to trying the sachets of Revitalift 10 BB cream (above) that came recently, I’ll let you know what I think of them soon!

The most recent product I’ve tried is the Maybelline Dream Fresh 8 in 1 BB cream, which I got as a sample from the Maybelline UK Facebook Page. I’ll be bringing you a review soon. It’s great when you get three sachets of a product to work with, so thanks Maybelline!

In each case I have “Liked” the page on Facebook and clicked on the free samples link. This takes you to a page where you enter your address and some details. As always, I was a little nervous giving my address to a marketing drive, but I made sure to click the right boxes, and thus far after a good few months I’ve only had the samples I’ve asked for and nothing untoward from these companies. Obviously, if applying for things via post via the internet worries you, don’t do it. My experience has been fine though, and lots of little samples to play with make me happy! What can I say, I’m easily thrilled ;)

Have you had any free samples from Facebook or elsewhere? Let me know in the comments!
