Hi guys! It’s been such a long week. I’m really looking forward to having a glass of wine and putting my feet up. Town is absolutely crowded with tourists not enjoying the rain (I don’t blame them) so I’ve taken refuge on the internet this afternoon instead of hitting the shops.
This week House of Fraser have 10% off beauty purchases when you shop online so it’s a good time to pick up a big ticket purchase like a premium foundation, if you were thinking of getting one the offer goes until Wednesday 25th.
I’ve picked out my five favourite premium foundations as a little summary of the reviews of them I’ve posted…
1. Clarins Everlasting Foundation
Clarins Everlasting Foundation is my absolute favourite full coverage, long lasting foundation. I have dry combination skin but this covers and lasts amazingly without drying or irritating and looks great.
Above is the Clarins Everlasting Foundation in action. You can read my review of it here and buy it for £21.60 in the 10% off promotion at House of Fraser
2. Chanel Perfection Lumiere
Chanel Perfection Lumiere is probably my most wanted beauty product. I love the supernaturally perfect look it gives my skin and the lovely colour of the Beige Rose shades. To my mind this is the perfect wedding make up.
Above is my face with just the Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation and no other products. It has a medium-full coverage and a long lasting finish. I think the formulation is suitable for most skin types and although it’s expensive if you wanted a really special product, this is my pick. You can buy it for £32.40 in the 10% off event online at House of Fraser. My review of it is here
3.YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation
YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation is HUGE in the beauty world at the moment. If you visit a YSL counter you can pick up a 7-Day sample for free to try it out yourself and I really recommend you do. It’s a light coverage, illuminating foundation in lovely shades.
Above I’m wearing the Touche Eclat foundation. It’s a great example of a my-skin-but-better foundation. You can read my review of it here and you can buy it £25.20 in the 10% off event online at House of Fraser.
4. Lancôme Teint Miracle Foundation
Lancôme Teint Miracle Foundation is my BFF of the makeup world. It’s just the easiest, kindest, nicest and most reliable foundation I can think if. It’s a breeze to apply, self-levels wonderfully, lasts all day, moisturises my dry skin and covers all my imperfections. It’s a hero of ticking all the boxes. A brilliant choice all round.
In the photo above I’m wearing Lancome Teint Miracle foundation. You can read my review of it here. You can buy it for £24.30 online at House of Fraser in the 10% off event until Wednesday.
5.Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser
If full foundations aren’t your bag and you want something lighter Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser is my pick from the whole gamut of tinted moisturisers and BB creams. It really is the best I’ve tried. It’s so refreshing and light feeling on the skin while offering light to medium coverage and moisturising my dry skin without feeling too dewy or wet.
Above I’m wearing the Clinique moisture surge tinted moisturiser with a full face of make up. Sadly I don’t have it in my correct shade but oh I want it! You can see my review of it here. You can buy it for £19.35 in the 10% off event online at House of Fraser.
So that’s my top 5 premium foundation picks, all available at 10% off until Wednesday. What do you think of these products? Will you be taking advantage of 10% off this week?
Have a good weekend! Love Bee xxx
