I love the eyeshadows in the Sleek MakeUP Glory Palette so much I might do a post with each shade (eventually!). This one is about the green shade “District” in action.
It’s such a strong, lovely green colour. So easy to apply, buttery and pigmented, stays where it is put without noticeable fallout. Excellent stuff!
I really love this eyeshadow. Even to the slightly mad extent of pairing it with red lipstick! What do you think – red and green? Just call me Mrs. Santa Claus I guess!
I was trying to find a new facial expression (above) I’m not sure I pulled it off…
As well as bright green eyeshadow, and bright red lip gloss, I’m also wearing the Touche Eclat Foundation that I reviewed a few days ago. This product is really growing on me as the colour is so lovely. It’s a characteristic of expensive foundations like the Chanel Perfection Lumiere I reviewed that the colour of the product, if correctly matched to the skin tone, is superior to the drugstore foundations I’ve tried. It’s just so nice, natural-but-better.
If you are interested in buying the YSLTouche Eclat Foundation House of Fraser have a 10% off beauty promotion running from Tomorrow – Thursday 19th July to Wednesday 25th July if you shop online with them.
Other products I’m wearing in this Face of the Day are…
- L’Oreal Contour Kohl eye pencil in Chrome Brown (for brows – I am still coming back to this product, can’t beat it)
- Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer
- Lancome Hypnose Mascara
- L’Oreal Glam Bronze Trio in Blondes
- Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze in “545 Stay Ablaze” – Amazing Poundland find! Super product.
Which colour next from the Sleek Glory Palette? I’m thinking… Hammersmith and City? See you then
