I’m really enjoying all the products from the Lancôme Gift With Purchase I was given for review purposes. You know sometimes when you get a goodie bag and it’s like “This thing is nice but what am I going to do with that?” well, it seems these guys are all winners. It’s good news that it seems the offer has been extended and it is still available at Boots and online when you buy two or more Lancôme products, one to be skincare.
Today I tried the travel size (2ml) Hypnose mascara in Noir Hypnotic. I’ve been looking forward to trying this as I loved the mini Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara I got in a previous Gift With Purchase.
I applied two coats and this is the result:
Hey, good looking lashes! Hubba hubba!
It’s not as huge as the Doll Eyes variety but it’s a gorgeous volumising a lengthening effect with no clumps, no transfer and no flaking.
Zoomed out a bit. See those lashes? They don’t even look like mine! I can see why this is a Lancôme Icon product.
If you like Lancôme mascaras, they’ve launched a new one called Hypnose Star, with Betty Boop as their spokes-cartoon for the launch.
I think this is a cute idea and the brush looks interesting, with two different sides for different lash effects. The promotional video for the launch, featuring Betty herself is frankly surreal, in a good way. Worth a look if you like your mascara adverts unconventional (to be fair, the conventional ones are very boring!). So, I’m looking forward to trying the Boop-endorsed Star mascara, but until then I’m really happy with the travel size of classic Hypnose, glad I got the chance to try it
