MUA: Bargains, Freebies and Lightning Fast!

I ordered my MUA shopping at 8pm on Thursday, by 1pm on Saturday, I was gleefully unwrapping it!  Eeeexcellent, Smithers!

Check it out! This is the palette that was free with my order – usually £8. I’ve had a go with it and it’s bloody brilliant for free, or £8, or just brilliant really – better than I expected even.

The colours are really bright and strong and really flattering on my cool (pinkish) skin tone. There’s a mix of mostly pearl and some matte shades. The applicator is just a standard spongey one which is fine, though I used my brushes with it. The case itself is slim and not annoyingly big like some palette cases I won’t mention!

I’ve taken a set of photos of various stages of applying these shadows for an eye make up look, I’ll post them soon :)

So… what did I buy to get this lovely freebie?

MUA Professional Eye Primer £2.50. I bought this because I fancied a bit of a battle-of-the-bands against the indispensable Urban Decay Primer Potion. Thinking too much like a beauty blogger there!

I’ve tried it out today and it’s promising! I’m impressed. Look forward to a primer comparison post soon…

This would have been a pretty good deal really, but at the moment, if you buy their professional eye primer, you get a MUA single eye shadow free too!

Look at that beautiful shade! It’s shade 25, from their £1 range, but free in this case. I’m looking forward to wearing this.

So… my order came to £2.50 with £2.95 postage on top – £5.45 in total, for all these great things. A real bargain and it arrived in record time. Thanks MUA!

I know some of you have ordered one of these, let me know what you think of it too!

Hope you’re all enjoying your weekends! Love Bee xx

Im glad you’re trying the eye primer, I really like it! Admittedly I’ve never used the UD one, but I love the staying power of the MUA one so much I see no need to stray from it! I’m also glad you like the palette, it *is* awesome :D

Thanks for the recommendation, you were absolutely right!
I’m not sure why I was so curious about the primer, I just had a feeling I’d like it and it is the most similar one to the UDPP that I’ve tried/tested so that’s worked out well :)
